Code of conduct for all ekpa members
We must hold ourselves to the highest standards and set good examples for others if we are going to be leaders in the promotion and education of the Kunekune pig.
Treat all people and farms with respect, courtesy, consideration, and compassion. Avoid insults, name-calling, put-downs, or other language likely to hurt, offend, or set a bad example for our organization.
Social media posts must adhere to the policy set forth in #1.
We expect each member to foster and encourage teaching and role-modeling that supports others with kindness and compassion, recognizing that we all have different skills and talents. Our goal at EKPA is to help others and promote an open learning environment.
Practice fairness and openness to new ideas, suggestions, and opinions. Treat all individuals impartially, regardless of race, creed, color, sex, nationality, age, or disability.
We expect each member to demonstrate and continually strive to treat their animals according to the highest welfare standards and to be responsible stewards of the environment.
Provide a safe environment for all individuals to learn and ask questions while being free from judgment, harassment, or any form of abuse.
